David Ritter has been appointed sustainability director for BDP’s Manchester studio.

Ritter, a trained architect, joined BDP six years ago and has reportedly played a leading role in the development of the sustainability group.

Over the last few years he has also been involved in the research and development of a pioneering renewable energy system for solar energy storage.
