Gas-elec, a firm that offers gas and electrical safety inspections, services, products and advice, has launched the g-save Economiser

The unit has two electronic timers that pulse at different pre-set times and run continuously.

One timer is wired into the room thermostat while the other timer is wired into the hot-water cylinder thermostat wiring.

The unit pulses the demand for heat so that the latent heat in the system is used to full effect, even when the boiler is not active, thus saving on gas.
