Verint Systems UK launched its partnership programme for installers and end users with a day of sporting activities.
Companies who have signed up to the Verint Partner Programme enjoyed a day clay pigeon shooting, golf and 4/4 blindfold driving at the Belfry, North Warwickshire.

The partner programme is split into two areas: one for end users and an Installation Support Partner programme for installers.

The installers' support will operate on a three-tiered level based on a company's annual results and commitments. It offers installers competitive discounts and "extensive" sales and services/product training.

The company, which acquired Loronix last year, also offers its resources for marketing. This includes working in collaboration with Verint, "tailored" initiatives, help with lead generation and PR.

Partners will be involved in early product releases and bench testing and training programmes will be developed for engineers and sales staff. They can also give customers assurance that they are endorsed and certificated.

Included in the programme will be integrator forums/user groups, a web site partner page for exchange of views and help with software development and kit integration.

Robert Wint, Marketing Director, said the IT influence across security and the convergence of technologies had required installers to evolve.

"Installers are not just selling a box, they want more support … One of the key benefits is joint marketing. We will work out a plan for each partner, what works for them."

Installers who would like to find out more about the programme should contact Ian Graham, Channel Manager at Verint (01932 839500).
