Recolight, the waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) compliance scheme for gas discharge lamps (GDLs) has launched its revamped website.

The website has been redesigned to make navigation easer and now includes a link for visitors to find out how they can recycle their lamps for free.

As well as providing guidance on WEEE regulation compliance, the site also provides useful links to other relevant organisations, a daily news ticker featuring industry news, and the Recolight collection point mapping tool.

Users can type their postcode into the mapping tool to find their nearest Reconet collection point where they can recycle their lamps free of charge.

Recolight said they hoped that the more user-friendly redesign would raise awareness of the WEEE Regulations and encourage more recycling of old lamps
