My organisation has adopted various 'best practice' processes which have benefitted us significantly - financially, and in terms of improved operating efficiency and effectiveness. Two questions: first, how could we sahre the benefit of our experience with others? And secondly, what would be the further benefits of doing so?
It's refreshing, in an industry noted for being confrontational, to read a question like this; but increasingly we are seeing that the more enlightened companies are seeking to exchange their experiences either with like-minded individuals through best practice clubs and special interest groups, or with their partner organisations through collaborative working practices, where individual benefits can be turned to larger, more profitable and cost-effective working practices and greater customer satisfaction.
Did you know that BSBP can help you to publicise your successes through a case study detailing your achievement and the underlying factors for change, the key management issues and learning points and the benefits gained. It won't cost you anything (other than time), and will allow you to share the benefits of your best practice experience with others.
