Customer choice has been enhanced by some new additions to Bohle’s machinery line-up. But what is the star attraction?
Glass tools and machinery manufacturer, Bohle UK, has unveiled the biggest new line up of glass machinery in its history. The company has introduced nine models of straight line edgers, two shape bevellers, a fully automatic vertical drill and additional ancillary machines, like the finger-grip processors. All products are either Bohle branded or are available exclusively through the company.
A top line-up
The principal model of the straight line edgers is the SL 9828AM 9-S spindle flat and arriss version. It offers speed and flexibility and has been designed to be easy to operate. Programme and tool changes can be made quickly and it can manage a piece of glass as small as 80 millimetres at speeds of 0.8 metres to 3m per minute. Another addition is the verticam C130 drill, which is a specialised machine for vertical boring. It uses an accurate numeric control system and retains ‘memories’ of the drilling programmes. It can also drill holes from 4mm to 85mm in glass thicknesses from 3mm to 30 mm.
A dedicated 6,000squarefoot showroom will soon showcase the complete range of new machines. The showroom is at Bohle’s site in Manchester and will be officially opened on 6 October by a celebrity guest, who will be named shortly.
Gary Dean, Managing Director of Bohle UK said: ‘Our customers know us well and trust us. This means they don’t just want to buy our tools but also our machinery.’
The customer knows best
Gary said: ‘The range we were offering was already large, but our customers wanted more; and of course we listened, researched and are happy to offer even more choice from now on.
‘We have a vast range which can provide solutions for the smallest glass shop up to the largest industrial processor. Our production in Germany satisfies demand for belt-machines of high sophistication, drilling machines, twin-belt grinders, sandblasters and fusing kilns. We also recently introduced vertical glass washers and increased our range of vacuum lifters, and cutting tables built by Bohle in our Madrid factory.’
The company has installed more than 300 pieces of glass processing equipment for customers since the range was launched in 2000 and it has found that many customers place repeat orders. A lot of companies have more than four different pieces of machinery from Bohle, which is a positive sign of quality and service.
