Interested parties should submit expressions of interest before 17 June

Architects are being invited to submit expressions of interest to revamp Hampden Park stadium in Glasgow for the 2014 Commonwealth Games. The work is estimated to cost approximately £14m.

Scotland’s famous national stadium will host field and track events during the Games. Glasgow 2014 Limited seeks an architect to carry out full design services for a warm-up track located outside the stadium and a two metre extension to the pitch level to accommodate the athletics track.

The planned revamp is being carried out solely for the duration of the Games and all alterations made will be removed after the closing ceremony.

The design work contract has been advertised in OJEU with a set deadline of June 17 for interested parties to submit PQQs.
