Survey by Engineering News Record puts Gleeds in ninth place based on fee income

Gleeds has entered the United States league of top 10 project management firms for the first time, based on fees for management services.

In the annual Engineering News Record (ENR) survey due to be published next month, the international management and construction consultancy firm ranked ninth, based upon fee income on a worldwide basis.

Chris Soffe, who is responsible for the Gleeds US operation, said he was not surprised by the firm’s position in the ENR league. “We have gradually been expanding the US operation over the last 10 years, and are now at a stage where our hard work is being recognised,” he said.

Gleeds new ranking follows news of the award of a £50m contract to project manage the building of the Medical College of Georgia. The facility will be a comprehensive school housing all clinical and instructional functions.
