Will MacDonald joins from Inhabit Group, while Paul Nash departs for Turner & Townsend

Aecom’s London-based commercial team has recruited a new regional director for building engineering, Will MacDonald, but lost project management director Paul Nash to rival Turner & Townsend (T&T), Building has learned.

MacDonald (pictured) joins Aecom from consultant Inhabit Group, where he was technical director.

Prior to that he worked at Lend Lease, where he helped deliver all 13 buildings that made up the London 2012 Athletes’ Village.

Nick Clare, Aecom’s head of commercial in Europe, Middle East and Africa, said: “With the dramatic upturn in the London commercial market, this appointment comes a crucial time both for Aecom and our clients.”

Nash - who started at T&T this month - departed Aecom after 15 months to become a director in T&T’s London team, focusing on the developer, occupier and leisure sectors.

Prior to joining Aecom, Nash was head of project management and a UK board member at Sweett Group.
