Keepmoat, Wates Living, and Willmott Dixon Services will deliver energy-efficiency retrofits to around 60,000 households over the next five years as part of the programme, which has been brought forward by a coalition of nine local authorities across the region.

The deal, agreed through the Greater Manchester Green Deal Delivery Partnership, is set to begin in April 2014.

As Building revealed last July, the pre-qualification for the £400m Green Deal scheme attracted bids from 20 firms, with around ten firms subsequently invited to tender.
