Capita appoints senior consultant in design and infrastructure

Thomas Beney has joined consultant Capita Symonds as senior consultant in design and infrastructure.

Beney, who has nine years experience in the property, construction and renewables industries, joins the company from Grace Lea Associates where he was development executive for a number of leisure funds specialising in developing serviced apartment blocks and public house conversions.

His role at Capita will involve the delivery of renewable energy projects on behalf of private and public clients.

Thomas has also worked on a series of high profile projects for Igloo Regeneration Partnership (Aviva), Crown Estates, RES Group and English Partnerships.

He has experience of a wide range of mixed-used developments and has an in-depth knowledge of both pre-construction and construction, with the focus on enhancing capital value for clients while at the same time maximising returns and delivering exemplar schemes.
