Seven out of ten RICS members are satisfied with the institution’s faculties and forums, according to a new survey.
The findings, contained in a 2004-2005 review by the Faculties and Forums Board (FFB), also gauged members’ views on how important the faculties and forums were and how aware members were of the bodies. The results were 93% and 89% respectively.
The review, the first undertaken by the FFB, said the 16 faculties were now producing a “more focused output-driven approach to activities and a more transparent management process”. “Overall, we start 2005/2006 better placed to deliver high quality products and services to the members than we have for many years,” it said.
The review added the key achievements of the Construction and Project Management faculties were the production of a new Construction Faculty quarterly bulletin and the latter faculty’s involvement in the Project Management week at Earl’s Court.
