Imigix, the video transmission specialist, has carried out its 150th "IRIS" training course.
Staff from A&A Security Technologies Group spent a day with the Cardiff-based manufacturer being trained in icon transceivers.
IRIS (Imigix Related Installer Scheme) has become wider in its appeal, says the company – not only to professional installers but also to distributors.
Companies have been trained in key areas of video transmission, and Imigix is broadening transmission routes to include CCTV over IP networks, GSM and GPRS.
IRIS now has four separate courses, two of which are aimed at installers, one at alarm receiving centre operators and one aimed at distributors' sales staff.
Courses are half day to full day and are free.
