Consultant in consortium selected by Brent to carry out 3,100-home London regeneration project
Brent council has chosen a consortium including EC Harris to work on a 15-year regeneration programme for South Kilburn.
The other members of the consortium are Taylor Woodrow, Bellway and Hyde Housing Association.
The mixed-use project covers a 48 ha site in north west London and includes 3,100 homes. Of these, 1,534 will be affordable housing and 1,566 will be homes for sale.
Around 1,400 homes in medium and high-rise blocks will be demolished to make way for the new scheme.
EC Harris' role is likely to include acting as project manager, cost consultant and employer's agent. Kerry Fleming led the firm's submission team for the bid.
The consortium is understood to have beaten a rival group made up of Crest Nicholson and the Genesis Housing Group.
