QAD Architects was formed in 2004 by directors Paul Wainwright and Ian Bryant, and the company now includes nine technical staff all based in its Leeds office. Recently completed projects include Back Lane, Thirsk, an 100% affordable housing scheme, complete with new house types for Karbon Homes to use on future schemes; and the relocated Fracture Clinic for Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Trust, in which the design considered patient and staff flow through the department, an evacuation route, and practical dementia initiatives.
