A new integrated approach to building design funded by the Carbon Trust aims to help building services engineers, architects and quantity surveyors to work together to meet client needs and the demands of legislation.
Catalyse is a flexible cpd package which builds the skills needed to work as a team and deliver improved sustainability. It has been developed by the Integration of New and renewable Energy in Buildings (INREB) Faraday Partnership. Catalyse is led by Loughborough University and BRE. The areas covered on the course will include the impact of different procurement methods in achieving sustainability, the importance of integrated working, low carbon office building design and achieving holistic solutions.
