A new line of integrated day/night, high impact dome cameras has been developed by Extreme CCTV.

The EX40MNX varifocal, auto-iris cameras feature innovative Omega LED geometry, precision-engineered to maximise infrared (IR) output while at the same time minimising internal dome reflection all the while.

Also incorporating an optical lens shield, the EX40MNX is said to totally eliminate the ‘halo’ effect for superior night-time surveillance to 12 metres.

The Omega LEDs are controlled by Extreme’s photocell technology, designed specially for IR performance and to ensure accurate switching between colour and IR.

Mechanical filter technology is said to ensure “outstanding” colour images by day and “exceptional” performance under IR at night.
