The ACPO policy could be a major boost for the IPVideo market, says IndigoVision plc, the digital visual comms supplier.
The Edinburgh based company believes the policy will accelerate the start of mass production of next generation digital security camera networks.
Says the company's Chief Technical Officer: Dr Barry Keepence "It offers potentially huge revenue savings for end users and opens up major new sales and service opportunities for the industry itself".
