Dedicated Micros Group has agreed the terms of its planned acquisition of Total Entry Solutions Ltd, which designs and manufactures access control systems.
TES systems are installed at some of the UK's most prestigious locations including King's College London, the MoD, Liverpool's Tate Gallery and the Home Office.

Nigel Petrie, chairman of DMG, said the planned acquisition would enable DMG to grow the CCTV and access control market. He said: "When customers specify DM kit to meet their visual monitoring security requirements, they will be able to enhance the overall system by opting for an integrated access control solution that works out of the box."

DMG will take on the marketing of Total Entry Solutions' Alpha system series of PC software, control box and door controllers.

DMG also recently acquired Dennard's entire range of dome cameras and housings, pan and tilt mechanisms, controllers, lamps, brackets and metalwork. Dennard continues to operate under its own name from its Hampshire base.
