ADT Fire and Security has made it easier for ex-service men to secure employment after giving its stamp of approval to a training programme offered by the Forces Resettlement Training Centre.
The FRTC is a combined services establishment open to all Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Army and Royal Air Force servicemen nearing the end of their career with the forces.
Based in Aldershot, it is intended to equip personnel with extra skills to help them secure employment in civilian life, and offers a range of courses.
One course has been described by ADT as "an ideal introduction to a career in the security industry".
The two-week Security Systems Installation course offers a basic introduction to intruder alarms and CCTV.
