Advance thinking: Manchester-based developer Urban Splash is claiming another regeneration first by building what it says are the first fully modular-built homes for private sale in the UK.

The MOHO development will be built in the regeneration area of Castlefield, Manchester, and will comprise 102 apartments, designed by architect Shed KM and manufactured by Yorkon.

The flats will be fully constructed off-site and then craned into place starting in mid-June.
