Blackpool-based Affordable Windows Systems, has introduced Ebony or ‘Black’ frames as standard to their Timberlook PVC-u window range.

Ebony Timberlook windows are constructed from the Kömmerling Connoisseur system with a Renolit foil layer to provide the Ebony colour.

Renolit foil-based coloured profile accounts for 8 % of Kömmerling’s total sales to UK fabricators. It popularity has risen over the past 5 years and is continuing to grow.

This particular Ebony hue is a very dark brown. Up close it has the natural warmth of a dark brown colour, but from a distance retains its dramatic black appearance.

Affordable MD Eddie Gaughan says, ‘At Affordable we believe in added value and that’s why we offer the Kömmerling range of products, with features that householders value and understand, such as unique lead-free profile that will not pink and Triple Shield double glazing which has a U-value of 1.1, retaining 60% more heat than Pilkington ‘K’ Glass’.
