Securicor has completed its largest ever acquisition with a £127 million deal for the NASDAQ- quoted AHL Services Inc.
The company trades as ADI in Europe with around 4,000 staff, and Argenbright in the US – where it employs 16,000 people.

Both provide aviation services and commercial security. The US division services clients at 17 of the 'Top 20' US airport hubs for customers including Delta and United Airlines, while ADI's clients include Federal Express and British Airways covering the UK, France, Germany and a contract for the new Athens Airport.

The deal makes Securicor the world's leading company in aviation security, and the top UK guarding firm with a £200 million turnover – overtaking Group 4.
