I was interested in your article celebrating 40 years of social housing (17 September, page 36), not least because this association is this year celebrating its 40th birthday.
We are lucky to still have one of the inaugural eight committee members on our board: Constance Harvey.
Her physical health has prevented her from attending board meetings over the past year but there is nothing wrong with her mind, as many of us here can testify.
Her active commitment to the movement is an inspiration to us all.
I wonder if she is unique in terms of such an unbroken service?
