The votes have been counted and the environmentally sound sorted from the sounding environmental. Are you in with a shout at the Sustainable Building Services Awards 2007?
Sustainability, environmental awareness and energy efficiency are now plastered across the national press on a daily basis, so the role of the building services consultant and contractor has never been more important.
The shortlist has now been drawn up for the inaugural Sustainable Building Services Awards, run by BSj and our sister magazine Electrical & Mechanical Contractor.
Projects, products, consultants, contractors, innovations and individuals all will be honoured at the awards lunch at the Royal Horticultural Halls and Conference Centre on 28 November.
So, while political parties jostle to appear environmentally friendly in the eyes of the public, the great and good of the industry have decided which firms and individuals to recognise as the real champions of the green agenda; the people who have dispensed with procrastination and gone out there and done something positive for our environment.
The standard of entries has been exceptionally high, with experimentation and innovation to the fore.
Will you be there to hear the accolades from the people who matter? Have you reserved your place at the awards ceremony? If not, get your table booked and the date highlighted bright red in your Blackberry’s diary.
To reserve your seat, call Clare at CreatEvents on 01252 781178 or email clare@createvents.co.uk
Individual places are £210 + VAT; tables of 10 are £2000 + VAT.
