Andrea Voigt is the new director general of the European manufacturers’ association EPEE (European Partnership for Energy and the Environment).

Voigt succeeds Friedrich Busch, who has been the EPEE’s chief since its foundation in 2000.

Voigt joins the EPEE after nine years with PR and translation agency AMV Communication. She has also worked as marketing manager for the Isceon refrigerants of French chemical company Rhodia.

She said :“EPEE is a strong, international association combining competent representatives of numerous sectors of our industry. I look forward to working with these people and will be fully committed to fight for the interests of our industry.”
