A Rapide Strata water treatment system has proved to be the solution to Anglian Windows’ need for larger volumes of high quality water.

High water quality is needed because Anglian Windows recently introduced a new soft-coating process for the glass used in many of its products.

The water system, from Elga Process Water provides other benefits, including reduced regeneration time, smaller effluent volumes and substantially reduced running costs.

Soft-coated glass has a better energy performance than ordinary glass but, before the soft coating process can be carried out, the glass must be cleaned to a very high standard. This requires demineralised water.

The efficiency of Anglian Windows’ new water treatment installation also means that effluent volume is reduced by around 45 per cent.
