An £8m 35,000ft2 office development on Bond Street, Macclesfield, has won planning permission.

Ape Project Management is acting as employer's agent on Ropewalks, phase two of Macclesfield developer Magnus' £20m Christ Church regeneration scheme.

The firm was appointed QS and PM early last year and has completed pre-construction project and cost management. The scheme includes partially demolishing existing buildings, refurbishing an early 19th century four-storey mill, and building new offices.

Work is set to start onsite this month and finish by June 2007.
