Michael Cox has become finance director for Hopkins Homes. Cox was formerly the finance director for Amec's Fairclough Homes.

Pennine Vibropiling has appointed Gary Klime as contracts manager, and Fred Saunders as regional sales engineer for London and the South East.

French Kier has appointed Roy Wilson as business development and marketing manager.

Affordable housing provider Lovell has promoted Walter Knowles Eastern regional manager and John Dalby will take up the post of commercial manager for the region. Also Steve Coombs becomes regional director for London.

Parting company
Asite managing director Alastair Mellon will leave the Group in April to move back to mainstream construction. Tom Dengenis, currently chief operating officer, becomes Group Chief Executive with immediate effect.

Viscount Weir will retire as chairman of Balfour Beatty in May.
