Following a highly successful 2002, leading CCTV equipment manufacturer Altron Communications Equipment has made a new appointment to its UK sales operation. Peter Rogers joins the company as field sales engineer (northern region), and will assume responsibility for sales of Altron products in the Midlands, northern England and Scotland.

Fleet telematics specialist Masternaut has appointed Lincoln Townley as group sales director. Previously a director with Northgate, Townley brings extensive experience of both the telematics and commercial fleet markets. His main task is to spearhead the development of Masternaut throughout the UK and Ireland. Masternaut provides real-time information on (security) fleet vehicles via the World Wide Web courtesy of GPRS units connected to satellite navigation systems.
The ASSA Abloy Identification Technology Group (ITG) has promoted David Sullivan to vice-president of business development for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. David was previously vice-president of sales and marketing at Indala, one of several business units supported by the ITG.
