Hugh Lanham
The new director of resources at Norwich-based Broadland Housing Association is Hugh Lanham, formerly a senior partner at a chartered accountant. He is also a non-executive director of Saffron Walden Building Society.

Mark Coogan
Dane Housing has appointed Mark Coogan maintenance manager in its property management department. Before joining Dane, Coogan worked as depot and resources manager at Bolsover district council.

Sarah Newman
Contractor Willmott Dixon has appointed Sarah Newman to the new role of community manager. She was previously a development manager at housing association the Anchor Trust. She will work with residents in areas where Willmott Dixon is building.

Gavin Brown
Gavin Brown has been appointed business development coordinator at Dunelm Property Services. His last job was as a housing manager at Middlesbrough council.

Director of housing at Tuntum Housing Association, Nottingham
Old job
Acting director of housing services for Tuntum on a consultancy basis, as they were without one with an inspection looming. Before that, I was head of operations (Midlands) at the Anchor Trust.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
The variety of projects Tuntum is engaged in – foyer management and women’s projects, as well as general needs housing.
What’s your advice for people looking to move into the sector?
It’s demanding but rewarding. You need to enjoy meeting people and attending meetings!
