This week's movers and shakers
Claire Birnie
Claire Birnie has been appointed development officer at Endeavour Housing Association in Stockton-on-Tees. Birnie moved from Tees Valley Housing Group, where she was a regeneration officer. She replaces Peter Urwin, who has been promoted to development manager.

HTA Architects
Arne Karlsen, project director, has been made a member of HTA Architects' main board and appointed legal director. David Mason, a senior architect with HTA, has been appointed technical design leader. Martin Jennings has been promoted to senior architect and senior architects Wendy Charlton, Amanda Taylor, Simon Bayliss and Colin Ainger have all been made associates.

Phil Adams
Phil Adams has been appointed head of Colchester Borough Homes, Colchester council's new arm's-length management organisation. He was previously housing operations manager for the council.

Bromford Housing Group
Joanne Dutton has been promoted from service manager to quality assurance manager in the supported housing team at Bromford Housing Group.

Anna Pickering has been appointed communications manager at the group. She joins from Hatch, a public relations company in Edinburgh, where she was an account director.

David Eaton
David Eaton, a care and repair project manager at Moat Housing Group, has become the UK's first home improvement agency strategy and development manager. He has been seconded to Kent County Council for one year.

Darren Dockerill
Bellwinch Homes project manager Darren Dockerill has won the Chartered Institute of Building's Construction Manager of the Year award. He was rewarded for his work on the Nautica La Marina apartments in Eastbourne.
