Nottingham Community Housing Association has appointed Philip Mills area development manager. Mills was previously an inspection manager for the Housing Corporation and Audit Commission.

Festival Housing Group
Alan Moorhouse and Sue Heelas are the new heads of housing at Spa and Elgar housing associations, members of Festival Housing Group. Heelas (left) joined Spa nine years ago as a housing manager. Moorhouse previously worked for the group as an area housing manager.

Pat Tempany
The South-east England Development Agency has taken on Pat Tempany as head of urban renaissance, housing and policy. She was head of housing and regeneration at the Government Office for the South-east.

Fiona Deal
Fiona Deal has been appointed head of human resources and quality at Moat Housing Association. She's been promoted from head of human resources and training.

What did you want to be when you grew up
I thought it would be fantastic to work in a shoe shop. It didn’t occur to me that other people’s feet would be involved. Now I own enough shoes to stock one.
