Old job
Development manager at Derby New Deal for Communities. I was responsible for running the housing initiatives.
Why did you take the job?
I was looking for a more challenging role, and Derwent is a well-known organisation with a good reputation.
Favourite book
Anything by Dean Koontz
Favourite film
Jackie Brown
Favourite music
I’m a very keen musician and at the moment my favourite would have to be 1970s soul such as Curtis Mayfield.
Hobbies
I play guitar, keyboards and
bass and have a recording studio. I write mainly funk and country rock, but I also combine music with computers that I build myself.
What did you want to be when you were young?
Like many people in housing, I’m a frustrated architect.
