Wokingham-based CCTV solutions provider Pelco (UK) has announced a further expansion of its sales operation with the appointment of John Milligan as business development manager for the northern region. Armed with over 18 years’ experience in the sector, John joins Pelco from recent positions at Gardiner Security and GE. He’ll be involved in the sales and marketing of CCTV systems, reporting directly to national account manager Matthew Rosam.
Rostima – one of the leading suppliers of enterprise workforce management solutions who list Group 4 Securicor among their clients for officer rostering programs – has recently appointed Steve Moore as sales director to spearhead new business development. Prior to joining Rostima, Steve was business development director for Workplace Systems, where he developed sales strategies which successfully targeted the aviation and transport logistics sectors.
Bosch Security Systems has increased its sales presence in Ireland with the appointment of Damien Gilheany as regional area sales manager responsible for the company’s range of CCTV, intruder, fire, Public Address and building management systems. Before joining Bosch, Damien spent the past four years at Group 4 Ireland as regional manager tasked with overseeing sales, service and installation throughout the midlands and western region of the country.
One of the country’s major national distribution firms, which is fully-focused on security, has appointed a new head of security. Jon Cole joins Nightspeed Secure Worldwide Express having spent 25 years in the industry. Originally part of Group 4, Nightspeed is an independently-owned express parcel distribution delivery network with headquarters in Tipton. The Black Country outfit was the subject of a management buy-out in 2002.
Vogon International has just announced two senior managerial appointments that will enable the company to consolidate its reputation as a leading provider of data recovery, computer forensics and consultancy services to clients. David Tilbury is the new business development manager. He has over 12 years’ experience in the IT sector, having worked in senior roles for Telematics and SGI. Meantime, Sheila Higgins takes on the role of sales and marketing manager. Sheila will be tasked with looking after the company’s internal sales operation while also developing new business opportunities.
Barry Rooney is the new md of Visimetrics’ UK business, which is to take its products overseas to the US market. Alastair McLeod, the former UK supremo, will now oversee developments there as USA LLC director. Gary James takes over as business development director (UK).
