Currie favour

Craig Bridges has been appointed associate in construction and property consultant RLF’s Glasgow office. Bridges joins RLF after 11 years working as divisional director in Currie & Brown’s New York office.

“His experience will be a major asset to our clients and to the firm,” said Glasgow office managing partner David Thomson.

World conquest

Project management group Hyder Consulting has promoted Stewart Tyler to global property director. Taking Tyler’s former role as head of Hong Kong and China divisions will be Steve Porter. Porter comes from Hyder’s Australian business, where he has been responsible for operations in New South Wales. Both appointments take effect from 1 August.

Slim chance

Rose Project Services has appointed Peter Slim as a senior quantity surveyor in its Tewkesbury office. Slim had previously worked for AYH and Davis Langdon Arabian Gulf.

M&E leader

Edmond Shipway has promoted Adam Keightley to head of its mechanical and electrical services division. Keightley joined the company in 2001 and became an associate of the Nottingham office last July.

Eye of the Needle

Needlemans has appointed two staff members to associates. Andrew Hutchinson will concentrate on developing the firm’s engineering services and utilities business, while Steve Wyatt will focus on the management and development of the London Bridge office.

New position

White Young Green has promoted Michael Whitwell, managing director of engineering and management services business in the South of England and Wales, to the new position of group corporate development director.
