Appointments

Faithful & Gould has appointed a new managing surveyor for its East Anglian operation. Jean Dickinson, who joins from MMBL, will be based at the firm’s Colchester office. Her career included stints at Davis Langdon as well as roles at client bodies Cambridge Council and the Colchester Institute and she was lead PQS on the Idea Store library in Tower Hamlets, London.

Cyril Sweett recruits two

Cyril Sweett has two new recruits. Derek Heffernan has rejoined after a previous stint at the company’s Spanish arm NCSweett and was most recently at KHK. He will work as project director working in the retail and commercial sectors. Eddie Jorden has come from Faber Maunsell and will act as associate director advising on M&E design for the firm.

MDA appoints in regions

MDA has made a raft of new appointments in its regional offices and its project management division. The firm has made Paul Crowe, who has previously worked at Edmond Shipway and property management firm Dandara Holdings, a cost consultant at its Manchester office. In Leicester the firm welcomes Bhiklesh Patel, formerly at Gardiner & Theobald, as a cost manager. In Bristol the firm has snapped up graduate Chries Bees. The firm’s project management division has made a trio of new appointments – Grant Buss, Ray Murphy and Rob Clifford. The three will be based at MDA’s Croydon office.

Three move up at WYG

Consultancy group White Young Green (WYG) has made three promotions. Paul Brockway has been promoted from principal planner to associate in the

Bristol office. Cathie Holland

has been made associate director in the Cardiff office. Jeremy Gardiner has been promoted from associate director to regional director in the Southampton office.

Partner for Davis Langdon

Davis Langdon has made Lee Jones a partner at its Birmingham office. Jones joined the office in 2003 after transferring from London.

He was promoted based on his experience of projects in London. The Birmingham office has expanded its team from 28 to 42 people during the past year. Recent new recruits include Martin Beard, Rob Talliss, Mark Bradbury and Leslie Sleigh.
