Evans joins Linden
House builder Linden Homes South East has hired David Evans as technical and commercial director. He worked for a number of years with Ian Randall, managing director of Lindens for the south east region. He will now be responsible for ensuring the workability of designs and control of expenditure across the region. Evans joins from Bovis Homes where he worked as commercial director for two years.
PM moves to Leach
QS and dispute resolution firm Leach Consultancy has appointed Max Barr as planning manager. He will focus on the expansion of the existing expert witness and forensic analysis service and develop a new front end programming and live project audit service. Barr has spent 24 years in project and programme management with a wide range of past appointments from site planner to client's consultant.
Two quit Knowles
Knowles Solicitors, the sister company of JR Knowles, has lost two construction specialists to a rival practice. Alex Mosson and John Beagley join EAD Solicitors to launch the firm's construction law department.
The new department will handle large scale instructions on a regional, national and international level.
Andrews adds QS
The Andrews Partnership has hired Mark Hampton, a former associate at the Portsmouth office of Currie & Brown. He joined the quantity surveying team in Hamble, Southampton at the beginning of February.
STATS promotion
An environmental due diligence specialist, STATS, has promoted Julie Carter to principal environmental consultant. The firm recently opened a Brighton office and operates in the South East and Midlands. Carter is a chartered environmentalist with 10 years experience in consultancy.
