1 Gordon Ray
Bluestone has appointed Gordon Ray as managing director in the north-east, based at the company's regional head offices in Garforth, Leeds. Ray, 45, began his construction career with Wimpey as a sponsored student and brings considerable experience to the role.
2 Ken Gillespie
Galliford Try, the construction and housebuilding group, has announced that Ken Gillespie joins the Board as an executive director, following acquisition of the Morrison construction division. Gillespie will have responsibility for the group's infrastructure division.
3 Richard Draper
Galliford Try Construction Central is also pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Draper as business development manager. Draper, formerly of Thomas Vale Construction, has more than 15 year's experience in the construction industry and will be based at Galliford Try's Midlands offices.
4 Mark Busby
Former trainee at Twigden Homes, Mark Busby, has been promoted to land buyer. Busby joined Twigden after completing a business degree at Northampton University.
5 Sabrena Crouch
Also at Twigden, Sabrena Crouch has been recruited as part exchange manager and PMA coordinator. Formerly with part-exchange management company Movewithus, Crouch will take responsibility for all part exchange aspects of buyers' existing homes for new Twigden homes.
6 Alan Finch
Alan Finch has joined Allison Homes as technical director. He has previously worked as head of design at Broadgate Homes and as land and development director at Ashwood Homes.

Kier Residential has appointed Troy Felts as divisional operations manager. He joins from Bovis Homes where he was health and safety director.
Professor Rudi Klein has been appointed chairman of the NEC Users' Group. He succeeds Robert Gerrard, who is moving to the role of NEC Users' Group secretary, replacing Kelvin Hughes. Nigel Shaw has also been appointed as chairman of the NEC panel following the retirement of Peter Higgins.
Bluestone has appointed Bob Ensch as business development manager, based at the company's Cambridge office, to strengthen its eastern region business development team. He joins existing team members Geoff Reynolds based in Hatfield and Patsy Adams in Norwich. He joins Bluestone from construction consultant 5 Dimensional Management.
Colin Boothman, a partner with international management and construction consultancy Gleeds, is to head the company's second office in China. The new base is in Suzhou and will be known as Gleeds (Suzhou) Construction Consultant Company.
