1 Chris Pattimore

Chris Pattimore has been appointed to the newly created role of projects director at Leeds developer Burford Park estates. Pattimore joins from Rushbond and will oversee all construction activities.

2 Barry Roberts

Bluestone has appointed Barry Roberts as area director for Merseyside following the firm’s decision to open a Liverpool office later this year. Roberts joined Bluestone in October 2005 based at the company’s regional headquarters in Manchester after 16 years with Birse Construction.

3 Ron Spence

Affordable housing provider Lovell has appointed Ron Spence as regional health, safety and environmental manager for the Midlands. Spence joins Lovell from Westbury homes where he was regional health and safety manager and will be responsible for monitoring health, safety and environmental standards at the company’s construction sites in the West Midlands.

4 Kevin Bradley

Project and cost consultancy Davis Langdon has promoted Kevin Bradley from associate to partner. Bradley, based in Scotland, joined the company in 2005 and is responsible for building and leading the firm’s specialist risk advisory/consulting team.

5 John Pietrzyba

John Pietrzyba has been made an associate of consulting engineers Hoare Lea’s professional development group. Pietrzyba joined the practice in 1991 as a senior engineer having previously worked at Andrews Weatherfoil and FHP Partnership.

6 Shaun Davis

Shaun Davis has moved to contractor and developer Rok as head of health and safety after eight years at Balfour Beatty. A Fellow of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CFIOSH) and a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner, Davis will head an expanded team that will oversee all aspects of health and safety management at the firm.

Crosby Homes (Yorkshire) has made Carl Wright its new land manager.

Costain has named Anthony Bickerstaff as its new finance director. Bickerstaff was previously finance director at Taylor Woodrow.

The British Cement Association has appointed Stefania Rosso as sustainability manager.

Cost management consultancy AYH has appointed four new project surveyors: Peter Slim as an associate in Birmingham’s lifestyle sector, hotel and business unit; Tommy Ng as a project surveyor; Sadat Rahim joins the corporate accommodation sector new build and fit-out team; and Oliver Thorne joins the London team as an assistant surveyor.
