AYH goes on a recruiting spree
AYH has drafted in four new recruits. Cost consultant Nelson Reyes has joined the firm’s London office “lifestyle” sector. He has worked with Davis Langdon and WT Partnership in Sydney, and has five years commercial and residential experience.
John van den Berg joins as project manager in AYH’s commercial development sector. Originally from South Africa, he has a degree in construction management and four years PM experience.
Jim Stafford is the firm’s new senior building services engineer in the public sector. He was previously a mechanical design engineer at Simons Construction.
Ronald Daalman takes up the post of senior project surveyor and will be working in St Lucia. Daalman is an experienced PM who formerly worked for PRC.
CMPB grows health & safety division
Consultant CM Parker Browne has added two people to its health and safety team, bringing it up to seven-strong. Andrew Avis joins the London office as planning supervisor from Network Rail, where he was national accident investigator. Peter Budd has been appointed planning supervisor in the Guilford office. He was previously planning supervisor and health and safety advisor at architect Lewis and Hickey.
The appointments are part of a drive to expand the health and safety team, which offers planning supervisory services.
RLF’s London and Midlands additions
RLF has hired a new head of business development and marketing. The QS and PM outfit has appointed Glynis Wigginton to the London office, where she will be responsible for growing the business. RLF recently bought small firm Alexander Associates. The company’s sole trader Lee Reynolds has joined RLF as partner in its Birmingham office.
John Packer adds green specialist
John Packer Associates has appointed Ryan Skinner as senior design engineer. The building services and sustainable design consultants hired Skinner due to his experience with green issues. He was formerly at Waterman Building Services.
