The VFT dome is the very latest addition to the Vicon family of Surveyor dome cameras. As well as conventional coaxial cable, the dome offers three additional on-board transmission options – network, fibre and twisted pair – thus increasing the flexibility of system design with domes. Indeed, the TCP/IP network module offers direct-to-network, high quality digital video for recording and viewing on any ViconNet workstation or Kollector recorder.

Key features include a new camera drive with pre-set accuracy down to 0.1%, 16 programmable privacy zones, optional image freeze during pre-set recall (which reduces digital storage requirements) and an internal clock for independent event scheduling.

In addition, end users are able to request high performance 23x day/night, 22x low light and 18x colour version cameras, as well as a choice of standard, pressurised or maximum security models.
