Arup has been appointed to the development team behind Renzo Piano's London Bridge Tower scheme. The practice will provide building services design for the 55 000 m2 multi-use development, which includes offices, a 185 bed hotel, residential and retail complexes. Arup's strategy is to reduce energy consumption by at least 30% of a conventional London office tower. WSP Cantor Seinuk is the civil and structural consultant, Davis Langdon & Everest is cost consultant.
