Renowned German profile manufacturer Helima has invested in new processes that allows it to significantly reduce the cost of all its special-finish Georgian Bars.

Sole UK and Ireland distributor, Ashton Industrial, announces that the metre-price of 18mm and 26mm Georgian in woodgrain finishes and two-tone (white plus another colour, or white plus woodgrain) has been cut by as much as 25 per cent in some cases.

Helima spacer tubes are also under the productivity scrutiny now. In particular, a new painted Gold finish is being introduced that is almost 30 per cent cheaper than before, while the latest developments in alloy quality have resulted in new lower gauge, lower-priced tubes with no sacrifice in quality or bendability.

Manufacturing is to ISO 9001 which means Ashton’s customers’ own in-house EN-testing requirement is minimal.

In the 10 years that Ashton Industrial has promoted pure 3A Supasiv, an estimated 5,000 tonnes has been filled into high performance i.g. units in the UK and Ireland. Now Supasiv prices are now keener than they were a decade ago.
