Construction portal Asite is set to sign a deal with haulage giant Unipart to provide its logistics services.
Asite will supply Unipart with data collected from projects managed on its service to co-ordinate deliveries between the sites. Research organisation Construct IT has produced five more how-to guides. Project communications, virtual reality, CAD standards, the Construct IT vision and achieving benefits from IT are available from www.construct-it.org.uk.
Meanwhile, auction site eu-supply.com has upgraded its tender management service. A supplier that requires more information on a tender sent out through eu-supply can now post that query to the contractor through the site. The contractor can then update that supplier alone or every supplier to whom the tender has been sent.
