Research organisation Construct IT is holding its annual members' meeting at the Hilton Hotel in Milton Keynes on 17 October. Among the speakers is the chief executive of Balfour Beatty, Mike Welton, who will question whether software suppliers meet the expectations of the industry.
Other speakers include the managing director of German contractor Hochtief, Uwe Krueger, who will discuss Hochtief's use of IT as an integrated part of its business, and future developments. Ian Dredge, wireless product manager for Nokia, will explain how the new generation of remote technology can aid construction, using the experience of other industries. There will also be feedback on projects involving Construct IT.
