Four appointments have been made at Beaver, which manages roughly 3300 homes in south London. They include Shaks Ghosh, chief executive of Crisis.
Three appointments have been made at Riviera, which manages 2800 homes in south Devon.
The move follows a number of high-profile interventions by the corporation over the past two years.
In total, 49 housing associations are currently under supervision, including Cornwall-based Kerrier Homes Trust and Twynham Housing Association.
The corporation has also announced a further two statutory appointments at Ridgehill Housing Association, which has been under supervision since December 2001.
The two replace one of the original appointees who stood down in February and to provide additional skills, the corporation says.
