- Access control
Bewator access control technology has been used to effect a major upgrade of security throughout the estate of the Bedfordshire Constabulary completed by Hitchin-based installer South East Security.
The system is centrally controlled, covering control points at the Force’s headquarters and at a further 15 remote sites.
The majority of the access points are linked to Bewator’s Granta 4 operating system via Bedfordshire Constabulary’s own Intranet. The system also uses automatic dial-up connections to communicate with remote sites.
