Bird in the hand: Residents at Arena Housing Association, Liverpool, took their first steps into the art world by unveiling this exhibition of paper animals. The foyer residents were inspired by Suki Chan (right), artist in residence at the Turnpike Gallery in Wigan, as part of a project called Stampede. The project enabled young people like Jamie Thompson (left) to explore their artistic talents and cultural identities.
