Retail and commercial security solutions provider Blue Rock Security group has acquired its retail security competitor, Security-Web, accelerating its planned growth for 2005.

Security-Web, a leading supplier and installer of EAS Tagging and CCTV systems in the UK and Ireland, was acquired by Blue Rock to increase the company’s presence in Ireland and complement its UK service offering.

Blue rock managing director Peter Jackson said: “Security-Web has an enviable history for delivering excellence in service and support, and the company’s network of operations in the north of England and Ireland complements our work in the Midlands and south of England and Ireland.

The additional services that will be brought to Blue Rock via the acquisition can only increase the existing levels of support that we offer all our customers.”
